The piece revolves around the question of how two people relate to one another when the outside world assails them with noise, contradiction and threat. At times, the other provides support; at others, a void emerges. In Richard Mascherin's work, falling becomes a physical, emotional and spiritual experience, and a way of relating to the world.
The direction and choreography are by Richard Mascherin, who performs the piece alongside Ignacio Fizona. The music was composed by Alejandro Da Rocha, and the lighting design is by Laura Iturralde. The performance runs from 20:00 to 20:30 and is intended for audience members aged 18 and over.
"Imperfecto Imposible" is funded by the Tenerife Island Council and presented in collaboration with the Centro Coreográfico Canal and the Fundación Antonio Gades.
