The La Laguna Book Fair will take place from 8 to 12 October 2026 in the Plaza del Cristo in La Laguna. On Thursday 8 October, from 13:00, there will be a programme of events featuring several concurrent sessions in the Espacio Zona Cero, Espacio Alfonso García-Ramos and Espacio Alicia Llarena areas.
The programme includes, amongst others, Pol Guasch discussing 'Reliquia' with Patricia Ginovés at 13:00, Víctor Álamo de la Rosa presenting 'Archipiélago herreño: una vida en siete libros' at 16:00, and, from 17:00, Eusebio Marrero presenting 'El Pinzón y sus amigos se van a Lanzarote', Graciliana Montelongo Amador with 'Simón el caracol, la abeja Sisilita y Raki el ratón' and Mariano Gambín with 'El instante soñado'. From 18:00, the programme continues with José Miguel Perera presenting an anthology of female poets from the 18th and 19th centuries from the Canary Islands, Juanca Romero Hasmen with 'Enigma Canarias. Ocho islas, 100 misterios' and Ceci Wallace with 'El año que me comí la gran manzana' in conversation with Sara Herrera.
In the evening, the programme features Beneharo Rodríguez and Airam Rodríguez with "Todas las Aves de Canarias", Azucena Keatley with "La reina que no supo ser mujer", and Cecilia Domínguez Luis and Arturo Maccanti with "Cartas de Cilce y el Doncel de Guerea". At 20:00, Tomás Felipe will present "Los afortunados", followed by a showcase of new titles from Acte Canarias and Marcial Morera Pérez with "El español de Canarias". A book signing with Ceci Wallace is scheduled for 19:00.
The day's programme is complemented by cultural activities from 10:30 to 13:00, including a theatrical tour for school groups, workshops with Carolina Purpurina and Yoga Latina sessions in the square. From 17:00 to 20:00, the Espacio Ventanas de Colores will host the "Café de las palabras" on the theme of autofiction with Antonio Moliere, a "Tendedero", a virtual reality zone and an obstacle course experience by Street Alley. At 19:00, "Templete", a literary debate series, will also begin on stage.
