The Los Lomos Trail is a running event in Barranco Hondo featuring two trail runs of 23 and 13 kilometres, as well as the Lomitos Kids' run. The event kicks off the town's Fiestas sports weekend and is aimed at running enthusiasts and families alike. A food court and live music are scheduled for the afternoon.
The third Los Lomos Trail will feature three staggered starts on Saturday 3 October. The long Route L, covering 23 kilometres, begins at 9:00. This is followed at 9:45 by the shorter Route S, covering 13 kilometres. At 10:00, the Lomitos Kids race for younger participants gets underway.
The race is organised by Club Fangosport. The run kicks off the sporting weekend of the local fiestas in Barranco Hondo. The programme also features a food and drink area and live music for the rest of the day.
