The production is by the Galician company Enésima. It was developed by Bal Castro and Inés Santos, two Generation Z artists. The piece combines dance and theatre and uses poetic body language to reflect, with an ironic tone, on identity, exhaustion and the role of social systems.
At its heart is the so-called 'Glass Generation'. 'Transparent' asks whether this generation is primarily vulnerable or whether it serves to highlight societal shortcomings. In doing so, the production addresses themes such as uncertainty about the future, collective suffering and mental health.
The performance aims to open up a dialogue between the generations. On stage, the work navigates between artificiality, self-questioning and liberation. Performances are scheduled for Saturday 17 October 2026 and Sunday 18 October 2026, both at 19:30 at the Teatro Victoria in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
