UD Las Palmas footballer Jesé Rodríguez will be sidelined for the next few matches due to a muscle strain, the island club has announced.

Tests carried out on Monday on the Gran Canaria-born striker, following the discomfort he experienced during Sunday’s match against Real Valladolid, have confirmed that he has sustained an injury to his left abductor muscle.

Jesé thus joins the long list of injured players in the yellow team during the first two months of LaLiga Hypermotion.
