Grandes Playas is situated in La Oliva on Fuerteventura. At around 1,600 metres, the beach is one of the five longest bathing areas on the island. The beach is made up of fine, golden sand. The local council reports that there are lifeguards, a first-aid service, showers, a vehicle access road and a footpath.
