Playa de la Laja is situated in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Gran Canaria. Its seabed consists of rock and fine sand, a combination found in only one other bathing area in the Canary Islands, according to the register. Measuring approximately 1,300 metres in length and around 41 metres in width, it is one of the five longest bathing areas on Gran Canaria. Bodyboarding, snorkelling, diving and surfing are reported in this area.
