Playa de Melenara is situated in Telde on Gran Canaria. The seabed consists of dark sand. Measuring approximately 350 metres in length and around 40 metres in width, the beach is situated above the average for Gran Canaria's bathing areas. The local council reports that the beach features, amongst other things, lifeguards, accessible access, first-aid services, a beach promenade, showers, changing rooms, toilets, drinking water, vehicle access and a footpath. Only four beaches in the Canary Islands report having more facilities.
