Playa de Pila de la Barrilla is situated in Tías on Lanzarote. Its seabed consists of rock and fine golden sand, a combination found in only one other bathing area in the Canary Islands, according to official records. Activities reported there include surfing, diving and boat hire. At around 90 metres long and approximately 22 metres wide, the beach is one of the shortest bathing areas on Lanzarote.
