Playa del Ancla is situated in Teguise on Lanzarote. Its seabed consists of rock and white sand. The register lists only three other bathing areas in the Canary Islands with this combination. Measuring approximately 150 metres in length and around 15 metres in width, the beach is only about half as long as the average bathing area on Lanzarote.
