Playa del Cable is situated in Arrecife on Lanzarote. Its seabed consists of coarse white sand, a feature not recorded for any other bathing area in the Canary Islands. Activities reported for this area include motorboating, sailing, kitesurfing, jet-skiing, canoeing, diving, surfing and windsurfing. At approximately 315 metres long and about 18 metres wide, the beach is smaller than the average for Lanzarote's bathing areas.
