Playa y Calas de la Jaquita is situated in Guía de Isora on Tenerife. The local council reports that the beach has lifeguards, wheelchair access, a first-aid service, a beach promenade, showers, changing rooms, toilets, drinking water, a vehicle access road and a footpath. Only four beaches in the Canary Islands are reported to have more facilities. The seabed consists of gravel and light-coloured sand, a combination that the register lists for only one other bathing area in the Canary Islands. At around 392 metres in length, the bathing area is about one and a half times as long as the average bathing area on Tenerife and is partly exposed and partly sheltered.
