On Thursday, 8 October, the Carrera de Letras will take place in two stages on Fuerteventura. The session for the Pájara area begins at 10:30 at the Polideportivo Municipal de Morro Jable. This will be followed at 17:00 by the session for participants from Betancuria at the Centro Cultural de Valle de Santa Inés.
The Carrera de Letras forms part of NeuroMajo's 2026-2027 season. The competition is designed as a tailored test to promote cognitive stimulation and mental agility. This year, for the first time, it is being held separately from the main competition weekend and will take place across all municipalities on Fuerteventura between 2 and 8 October.
Following this island tour, the opening parade will take place in Caleta de Fuste on Friday 16 October from 17:00. The remaining competitions will be held on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October from 10:30 at the Playitas Sports Resort, featuring qualifying rounds, finals and a closing ceremony. The season will conclude in February 2027 with the NeuroMajo Gala at the Palacio de Formación y Congresos de Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario, where the efforts of the entire season will be honoured.
