The San Mateo Senior Citizens' Club is organising an afternoon of dancing on Sunday, 18 October, featuring the Rayos de Plata duo. The music will be performed live and is specifically tailored for dancing. The event begins at 15:30 and is scheduled to end at 19:00. It will take place at the Club de Mayores de San Mateo in Vega de San Mateo.
The event falls on the same day as the concert organised by the island's brass band association, which takes place at midday in the local church. This means both events can be combined into a single day out in San Mateo. The afternoon will centre on good dance music in a convivial atmosphere at the Seniors' Club.
