Caserones Altos celebrates the 'Bajada del Pitón', a tradition unique to this neighbourhood in Telde. The programme compares this custom with the 'Zweig' of Agaete and the 'Boat' of Mogán. The procession sets off from the blocks of flats, and from there the parade continues, accompanied by music from the Banda Isleña.
The festivities then move to the Plaza de Caserones. On the programme there is the 'Verbena del solajero', featuring performances by Paco Guedes and Pepe Benavente. Afterwards, paella is served in the square. It is available in exchange for a donation of three euros.
