Mónica Lleó's production is inspired by Ravel's 'Bolero' and has been performed on stage since 2007. It takes its starting point from a literary experiment: writing a character out of her own, constantly recurring neurosis, much like a musical score that varies with each repetition of the main melody.
Graciela Conchalovsky examines the common clichés on both sides of the Atlantic. The evening combines humour, sarcasm and a highly distinctive perspective on both cultures. The monologues also explore the experience of crossing 'the pond' from Argentina to the other side.
The play was developed and directed by Mónica Lleó, who also stars in it. The performance at the Teatro Cruce de Culturas in Cruce de Arinaga is scheduled to last 65 minutes. The show is recommended for audiences aged 16 and over.
