The family event to mark World Animal Day in Lanzarote brings together craft activities, face painting for children, photo opportunities with pets and information on animal welfare. It is aimed at children, families and pet owners. The programme takes place on Saturday at the Plaza de las Cruces in Marina Lanzarote from 10:30 to 14:30.

At the Plaza de las Cruces in Marina Lanzarote, World Animal Day will feature a family programme focusing on pets and animal welfare. The programme includes themed craft workshops, face painting for children and photo opportunities for families with their pets.
The programme is complemented by information sessions on legal matters. The programme was announced by Armando Santana, the Animal Welfare Officer. The event will last four hours and is specifically aimed at children and pet owners.
