"La forma del silencio" is a recital featuring Mario Marzo on piano and countertenor Nacho Castellanos. It forms part of the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias, which takes place from 9 January to 4 February 2027. The concert in Lanzarote begins on Wednesday, 3 February 2027, at 20:00 at the Convento de Santo Domingo in Teguise.
The programme features works by J. Dowland, H. Purcell, R. Schumann and R. Wagner. It also includes S. Hough's "Three Grave Songs", which will be presented as their Spanish premiere as part of the festival. The performance is conceived as an evening of music, stories, anecdotes and revelations.
The recital will also be staged on La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and Fuerteventura as part of the festival. A standard ticket price of 15 euros applies for the concert in Teguise. General ticket sales begin on 16 December 2026.
