Keroxen Lanzarote: Concert by Waq Waq Kingdom and Kalma
This concert at the Auditorio Cueva de los Verdes brings together electronic music, traditional Japanese music and live visuals. Waq Waq Kingdom blend Minyo with dancehall, footwork, dub and techno, whilst Berlin-based artist Kalma creates the visuals in real time. The performance is part of KRXN LZT, the Lanzarote offshoot of the Keroxen Festival; it lasts 60 minutes and costs 20 euros.

Waq Waq Kingdom will be performing in Haría with a set that blends traditional Japanese minyo songs with electronic styles. The project brings together Shigeru Ishihara, known as DJ Scotch Egg, and the singer and composer Kiki Hitomi. Their sound emerges from a dialogue with dancehall, footwork, dub and techno.
The visual aspect is handled by Kalma, an audiovisual artist based in Berlin. She works with real-time processes, generative visuals and projection mapping, so that image and sound are created in parallel. The concert is part of KRXN LZT, through which the Keroxen Festival 2026 is expanding its programme on Lanzarote to include four evenings at the Cueva de los Verdes between October and November.
The performance at the Auditorio Cueva de los Verdes lasts 60 minutes. Admission costs 20 euros.
