NOON Canarias is a series of lunchtime concerts held at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz in Arrecife. On five Saturdays in October, the Cuarteto Improntu, the Vientar Trío, Telmo Carvajal, the Dúo Fraute and, to round off the series, the Cuarteto Imprevisto will be performing there. The series is part of the NOON Canarias festival, which brings live music to iconic venues across the Canary Islands every weekend. In Arrecife, the concerts take place at 12 noon at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz.
Five dates have been announced for October in Lanzarote: on 3 October, the Cuarteto Improntu will perform; on 10 October, the Vientar Trío; on 17 October, Telmo Carvajal; on 24 October, the Dúo Fraute; and on 31 October, the Cuarteto Imprevisto. The Cuarteto Imprevisto had already opened the series in July and is now returning to bring it to a close.
Admission is free on all dates. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached, so arriving early is recommended. The organiser is Vector de Ideas. The festival is sponsored by Promotur Islas Canarias, with the support of the Department of Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands.
