“A Room of One's Own: Vision and Legacy of Untold Women's Stories” is a series of talks on untold stories of women. It is coordinated by the art historian Elena Ramírez and organised by the Island Council of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
At this event, Marta Viera will speak about Mararía, approaching the subject through the medium of theatre. The focus will be on a fresh perspective on the myth and the literary work. The event will take place at CIC El Almacén, Calle José Betancort 33, Arrecife.
This evening marks the final event in the series, which began on 29 September and takes place on Tuesdays throughout October and on 3 November. The talk is suitable for all age groups and begins at 19:30. Admission is free.
