Esteban Garrido wrote 'Vierdingo' and appears on stage himself in this monologue. The play is directed by Antonio Hernández Centeno. It tells the story of Iván, who is about to attend his final therapy session after five years. His psychologist asks him to take stock of what he has learnt during this time.
The play explores inner conflicts, insecurities and the process of self-acceptance with irony and sensitivity. Humour, emotion and thought-provoking moments are interwoven throughout. "Vierdingo" has been awarded the Premio Joven de Teatro de Molina de Segura and the Premio Nazario at the Cultura con Orgullo festival in Seville.
The team includes José Moreira as production manager, Carmen Carrillo for lighting and set design, and DJ Monete for the visuals. The performance at CIC El Almacén in Arrecife lasts 75 minutes, is recommended for ages 14 and over, and costs 10 euros.
