A performance by the long-established music group Los Sabandeños is, of course, an essential part of Canary Islands Day.
There were plenty of traditional costumes to admire during the grand traditional costume parade through Puerto de la Cruz. A large crowd lined the route.
The children had a great time too.
The traditional processions are accompanied by numerous ox-drawn carts.
Of course, the little ones had a great time even away from the main action.
