Playa del Castillo is situated in La Oliva on Fuerteventura. Its seabed consists of gravel and golden sand, a combination that the register lists for only two other bathing areas in the Canary Islands. At around 200 metres long and approximately 35 metres wide, it is only about half as long as the average bathing area on Fuerteventura. The official profile describes the sea conditions as rough.
