Playa La Lajita is situated in Pájara on Fuerteventura. Its seabed consists of pebbles and coarse dark sand, a combination found in only one other bathing area in the Canary Islands, according to the register. The local council reports that the beach has wheelchair-accessible entry, as well as a beach promenade, access road and footpath. At approximately 463 metres long and around 20 metres wide, the beach is smaller than the average for Fuerteventura's bathing areas.
