Its seabed consists of pebbles and golden sand, a combination that the Canary Islands register lists for only two other bathing areas. Measuring approximately 55 metres in length and around 24 metres in width, it is one of the shortest bathing areas on Gran Canaria. Facilities reported there include a beach promenade, drinking water, a vehicle access road and a footpath.
