Playa Blanca is situated in Yaiza on Lanzarote. Its seabed consists of rock and fine golden sand. This combination is found in only one other bathing area in the Canary Islands. Measuring approximately 140 metres in length and around 22 metres in width, the beach is only about half as long as the average bathing area on Lanzarote.
