Playa de Matagorda is situated in Tías on Lanzarote. The beach consists of white sand. Measuring approximately 840 metres in length and around 40 metres in width, the beach is about twice as long as the average bathing area on Lanzarote. The local council reports that the beach offers wheelchair access, a promenade, as well as showers and toilets.
