Playa del Duque is situated in Adeje on Tenerife. The beach is made up of golden sand and the swimming area is partly open and partly sheltered. Measuring around 420 metres in length and approximately 65 metres in width, the beach is about one and a half times as long as the average bathing area on Tenerife. The local council reports that facilities there include lifeguards, wheelchair access, a first-aid service and a beach promenade.
