FIMC 2027: Camerata Iberia concert in San Bartolomé
Camerata Iberia is bringing a programme for countertenor and vihuelas to San Bartolomé as part of the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias. The line-up includes Gabriel Díaz, Carlos Oramas and Juan Carlos de Mulder, who will also be conducting. The programme features works from the Renaissance and early music, and the series is called 'En Paralelo'. Tickets are priced at 15 euros each.

The concert forms part of the 43rd Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias and is part of the 'En Paralelo' series. Camerata Iberia will perform with Gabriel Díaz as countertenor, accompanied by Carlos Oramas and Juan Carlos de Mulder on the vihuela. De Mulder will also take on the role of musical director.
The programme features works by Francesco da Milano, Juan del Encina, Francisco de la Torre, Josquin des Prés, Tomás Luis de Victoria, pieces from the “Cancionero de Upsala”, and music by Luis de Narváez, Diego Ortiz and Alonso Mudarra. The evening thus brings together a repertoire for voice and vihuelas from the Renaissance and early music periods.
As part of the festival, the programme will also be performed on La Graciosa, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. General ticket sales begin on 16 December 2026. A flat rate of 15 euros applies for the concert in San Bartolomé.
