Golf del Sur

Golf del Sur attracts golfers from all over the world. Even from the aeroplane, they can spot their holiday resort, which stands out like a green oasis against the reddish lava and sandstone of the barren desert landscape in the southern half of Tenerife. Even as you approach, the well-maintained golf courses look like the garden of Tenerife’s tourist centre. The 27-hole golf course is a regular venue for international golf tournaments and attracts visitors from all over the world.

As the name suggests, the little town offers a holiday home primarily for sports enthusiasts. Yet Golf del Sur also boasts a vibrant nightlife. There are also numerous restaurants and entertainment options, as well as a lovely promenade that’s perfect for a stroll, not just during the day.

But the town has much more to offer: Golf del Sur is a family-friendly holiday destination. In the evenings, the small restaurants are just as inviting to explore as the numerous bars and cafés. What’s more, the promenade is the hub for tourists.

In the warm south of Tenerife, you can enjoy the sun whilst out for a walk and listen to the sound of the waves. Sports enthusiasts and families needn’t worry about boredom or a lack of variety in Golf del Sur. And once you’ve explored the resort to the full, the neighbouring Costa Adeje offers hundreds of new possibilities.
