Siam Park opens Singha slide with 14 direction changes

The 240 metre ride cost around €4 million and reaches speeds of up to 18 metres per second. Canadian specialist Proslide built it, with 70 experts involved in the design. It is the park's first new attraction in three years.

Siam Park on Tenerife has once again set new standards with a new turbo water slide. At speeds of up to 18 metres per second, daredevil water slide enthusiasts can race through the 240-metre-long tube.

Europe’s largest water park has spent around 4 million euros on its new attraction. Seventy specialists were involved in the development of Singha. The new slide was built by Proslide, a Canadian company specialising in water slides.

The new main attraction, stretching 240 metres in length, offers visitors 14 changes of direction alongside speeds rarely achieved. As a result, Singha is more reminiscent of a rollercoaster than a water slide.

Siam Park named the world’s best water slide park

The last time Siam Park opened new attractions was three years ago. At that time, Kinnaree and Sawasdee – another water slide and a water playground for the youngest visitors – were unveiled.

Almost at the same time as the opening, Siam Park in Costa Adeje on Tenerife had been named the world’s best water slide park by an online travel portal. A representative of the Travellers‘ Choice Awards therefore attended the opening, alongside the President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and the President of Tenerife, Carlos Alonso.
