Super 95 has fallen by 3.7 cents on La Palma in the space of a week – a sharper drop than on any other island. However, diesel remains expensive on La Palma: motorists are paying 17 cents more than the Canary Islands average.
Across all the islands, the price of premium petrol fell from 1.559 to 1.555 euros per litre week-on-week. Diesel remains unchanged at 1.710 euros. In the preceding weeks, fuel prices in the Canary Islands had already remained largely stable.
The most expensive island for both fuels is La Gomera. The price difference compared to the cheapest island is 31.1 cents per litre for diesel and 29.4 cents for petrol. Which island is at the other end of the scale, however, depends on the fuel.
Canary Islands: Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria top the price comparison
