Inside Siam Park, the largest water park in Europe

From the near vertical Tower of Power drop to the wave pool at Siam Beach and the Sawasdee play area for small children, our picture gallery shows what awaits visitors in Costa Adeje.

Siam Park on Tenerife is currently the largest water park in Europe. It attracts visitors with a variety of water slides and attractions.
Siam Park Eingang Seelöwen
Right at the entrance, the sea lions make it clear that Siam Park is no ordinary water park. They welcome visitors and bring a smile to the faces of young and old alike, even before they reach the first water slide.
Siam Park Wasserrutsche Tower of Power
The "Tower of Power" is one of the most spectacular turbo slides in the world. It plunges 28 metres almost vertically towards the ground. No wonder that not all visitors who have made their way to the top actually make it back down via the slide.

Travelling at speeds of up to 80 km/h, the daredevils finally land with a loud splash in the run-out zone.
Siam Park Haifischbecken
Before that, incidentally, you pass through a large shark tank (the rear tube). The lower Plexiglas tube is part of the 'Mai Thai River'.

Siam Park Wellenbad Siam Beach
The "Siam Beach" attraction simulates up to 40 different waves. In the middle of an artificial beach, there is a huge pool that starts off shallow and gets deeper towards the centre. Every 20 minutes, the waves start rolling in, accompanied by a loud hissing sound from the control room.
Siam Park Neoprenanzug für kühle Tage
On cooler days, visitors can also hire wetsuits. There are also affordable ones available to buy.
Siam Park Wasserspielplatz Sawasdee
For safety reasons, younger visitors are not allowed on every water slide. So the park promptly provided them with another water play area. This fun area, featuring slides and other play facilities, is called "Sawasdee".
Siam Park Wasserspielplatz Lost CIty
"Lost City" is a huge water playground. Highlight: the enormous water basin shaped like a monkey's face, which regularly empties over visitors' heads. You can find even more photos from Siam Park in Part 3 of the big review.
Siam Park Strom Mai Thai River
Things are rather laid-back on the "Mai Thai River". Here, you can simply relax whilst floating on the water. Just before the end, there's another set of rapids. In the background, a few visitors are getting ready for it.

Siam Park Kinnaree
"Kinnaree" entices visitors with a giant funnel (in the background), a "mega wave" (to the left of it) and two extremely steep drops (on the right). Speeds of up to 45 km/h are reached on the new water slide.

The Big Wave is the main attraction at 'Kinnaree'. On this turbo slide, which opened in 2012, Siam Park visitors are catapulted from one adrenaline rush to the next.
Siam Park Wasserrutsche Naga Racer
The "Naga Racer" is a bit like those big carpet slides at the funfair. The big difference is that at Siam Park, things move at a much faster pace!
Siam Park Liegestühle zum Ausruhen
If you like, you can simply bask in the sun at Siam Park in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. But it would be a mistake to dismiss Europe's largest water park as just another ordinary outdoor swimming pool. See for yourself...

Siam Park Wasserrutsche Kinnaree Ende
As with any water slide, there is a lifeguard on duty at the landing pool who will be happy to help you get off the slide if necessary.
Siam Park Wasserrutsche Jungle Snake
The "Jungle Snake" consists of four different water slides. They are very reminiscent of the well-known water slides found in leisure pools. The only difference is that, thanks to the single and double rings, the final speed is considerably higher.
Siam Park Wasserrutsche Giant
The Giant consists of two parallel slides, each leading into a large funnel. After several laps, riders head - usually backwards - towards the landing pool. More photos from Siam Park can be found in Part 2 of the big review.
Siam Park Wasserrutsche Dragon
The main attraction of the "Dragon" is the funnel, through which it hurtles back and forth several times at high speed.
In
In "Sawasdee", Siam Park has created a lovely area for the little ones to run about and play. Four water slides and a variety of play facilities await the youngest visitors.
Siam Park Wasserrutsche Mekong Rapids
The 'Mekong Rapids' are a sort of rafting water slide. Anyone who wasn't completely soaked by this point will certainly be by the time they've been on it.
